Name 3 things you and your best clients have in common: by Anthony Jude Tan

Here are the 3 main things that make our best clients the absolute best.

1. Mutual trust and openness – free exchange of vision and direction. Good relationships in general are built on a foundation of trust and business relationships are no different. Our best clients entrust us with their organization’s vision and goals, and in turn, we trust them to be completely transparent where applicable.

2. Good Communication both parties keep the other updated on their progress, any changes, and offer feedback in a timely manner. This also relates back to the first point about trust.

3. Mutual Respect – both parties fully respect each other on both a personal and professional level. This makes working with each other a comfortable and positive experience.

A FULL HOUSE! 🎉

Around 150 people turned up to Founder and MD Anthony Jude Tan‘s second set of Nation Building Institute lectures: ”Leadership and Entrepreneurship In Wellbeing For Nation-Building.”

The audience were particularly hooked on the segment about Value Transfer and Value Proposition, with overwhelmingly positive reception. Needless to say, the attendees left with a whole new perspective and better understanding of business in the wellness industry.

Looking forward to the next set of lectures!

What would constitute a perfect day for you? by Anthony Jude Tan

A perfect day for me disguises itself in simplicity. I focus on my household- grocery shopping to ensure we have food at home,- and keeping my garden immaculate. And of course, I love some quiet time in which I meditate or go out for a long walk as exercise and to clear my head. During the weekends or long holidays you can find me hitting the road, on the way somewhere out of Bangkok.

We wrapped up our #worldmeditationday event on the 22nd of May: ”iRETREAT Wellness Meditation Family Day: The iLego of Life” in which families came together to forge stronger bonds through meditation, among other fun activities.

The AJT team were in charge of developing this year’s theme, event planning, from the organization of the event to the logistics, as well as handling the reception on the real day. As a core advisor, Founder and MD Anthony Jude Tan gave a riveting opening speech which set the tone for the rest of the event.

A huge thank you goes out to each and every single participant for making this such a huge success, and without whom this event would not have been possible.

Onto the next one!

Which entrepreneur, living or dead, would you most like to have dinner with and why? by Anthony Jude Tan

Richard Branson, Founder of Virgin Group. His career journey was a rollercoaster, something I can relate to. What I admire most about him is how down to earth he is despite his success, and his ability to inspire others to embrace and dream of endless possibilities. I would definitely like to pick his brain over dinner on being a successful entrepreneur.

What skill have you developed since leaving formal education that has been most useful in your career? by Anthony Jude Tan

My formal education got cut short at an early age so most of what I know today comes primarily from experience. If I had to pick one skill that has really propelled me to where I am, it would have to be my networking skills, which no formal education curriculums will ever teach.

What are your clients really buying? (the feeling beyond the product or service you provide) by Anthony Jude Tan

A sense of community. Once the medical wellness concept is in place, what usually happens is that these hotels and resorts find that their demographics change. People with shared interests converge, and that’s always nice to see.

What is your number one hack for getting yourself motivated when things seem hopeless? by Anthony Jude Tan

My main trick is to self reflect. It’s easy to be consumed by this vortex of hopelessness so I remind myself of what I am grateful for. I look on the bright side of things, whether it’s what I’ve accomplished, or who or what I am thankful for. This is usually enough for me to come out of whatever rut I am stuck in and realize there are no insurmountable obstacles.
